Rhome Fire Rescue Station 17Station
Rhome Fire Rescue is a combination department that consists of 20 current members.  The Fire Chief is a paid part-time position with the City of Rhome while the remaining 19 members are volunteers. All members operate out of one central fire station located at 261 N. School Road in Rhome.

The fire station is housed in a converted gymnasium in the old Rhome High School which was built in 1929. It houses two fire engines, one rescue truck, two brush trucks, one squad as well as a utility truck.  The facility also contains the fire administrative offices, the emergency management operations center, a training room, a bunk room, and a workout room.
