The Rhome Police Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the community by providing the highest quality public service, protection of life and property, and impartial law enforcement, while always maintaining respect for individual rights and human dignity.
Sam Love, Police Chief
Chief Love has been the City of Rhome's Police Chief for 4 years.
He is a certified/licensed Master Peace Officer with an Associate
Degree from Navarro College and brings extensive education, experience,
and training to the Rhome Police Department with over 1300 hours
including Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas,
Special Investigation Certification through the Texas Municipal Police
Association, Investigator Technical/Specialized and Crime
Scene Investigations.
