    2024 GREAT TEXAS WARRANT ROUNDUP
BEGINS THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2024

WHAT IS THE WARRANT ROUND UP?
Law enforcement agencies statewide are joining forces from February 23rd through mid-April for the "Great Texas Warrant Roundup 2024".
If you have active arrest warrants on old, unpaid citations, you’ve likely been notified, via mail or telephone from Graves Humphries Stahl LTD for collections purposes on behalf of this court regarding outstanding citations.
You can call the court at 817-636-2333, email the court at kadams@cityofrhome.com or go online https://www.govrec.com/home/rhomecitx to find the outstanding balance/balances.
You can pay the fines online https://www.govrec.com/home/rhomecitx, or by Money Order or Cashier's Check made payable to City of Rhome, or in person with cash (exact amount required).  You will NOT be arrested if you come in person to resolve your citation.  The judge would prefer you appear and get all resolved than to arrest you and fill up the jails.  That would not benefit you, and it would not be a positive service to our justice system.
You have the right to submit a written request to this court for a formal in-person court setting so you can speak with the State's Attorney (prosecutor) to resolve your citation without having a conviction appear on your record.
You also have the right to hire an attorney to resolve the citation on your behalf.  Please know....Municipal Courts do NOT appoint attorneys.  That is done at higher court levels, but not in municipal courts.
*** If you pay off a fine (or apply jail time served credit) associated with a citation you will have a conviction on your driving record and/or criminal record.

YOU ARE REQUIRED to APPEAR IN PERSON unless you have hired an attorney to appear on your behalf.
FAILURE TO APPEAR as ordered may result in a subsequent violation for "Failure to Appear" being issued with additional fines and fees assessed as required.
A WARRANT may be issued for your arrest with additional fees as required.
An OMNIbase HOLD may be placed on your driver license preventing you from renewing your DL until the violation in this court has been resolved in full.
COLLECTIONS STATUS with 30% additional fees may be applied as required.
