Wise Recovers Economic Relief Fund
The City of Rhome has teamed up with Wise County in the distribution of economic relief funds for businesses impacted by the government ordered shutdown. Wise County will be administering the program and it is first-come, first-served. 
PLEASE read all the attached documents and follow the instructions specifically; note that applications will be accepted starting at 8 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020. DO NOT submit your application BEFORE 8 a.m. or it WILL NOT be accepted! 
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Wise County Judge, J.D. Clark, as Wise County is administering the program ( or 940.627.5743). Of course, we will be happy to answer any questions we can here at the City of Rhome as well, keeping in mind that Wise County is actually administering the program so we recommend you connect with them directly.

Coronavirus Media Release - Effective Monday, March 23, 2020
Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, by order of the Mayor, all City buildings will be closed to the public.  This includes City Hall, Police Department, Public Works, and the Fire Department.  The City will still be open for business, but ONLY via phone or email for non-emergency matters.  All emergency calls should continue to be made by calling 911.  Read more...
