Where to Live

Rhome has character, charm, historical buildings, and offers many different housing options!
Rhome sits just north of Fort Worth and is conveniently located at the crossroads of Highway 114 and 287, with easy access to the DFW Metroplex.

ByWell Estates - located East of Rhome on SH Hwy 114, ByWell Estates is a well-maintained manufactured home community with 1-acre minimum lot sizes. Chisholm - a shared neighborhood between the cities of Rhome and Newark, is just minutes from Prairie View Elementary and Chisholm Trail Middle School.  Chisholm offers spacious half acre lots with brick homes.

Crown Point - located in the center of Rhome just east of Main Street, offers traditional sized city lots and comfortably-sized brick homes. It is also very closely located to the City park area!

Ellis Homestead is a development that offers "Country Estate Living" and is located on the southwest edge of Rhome, just off of Hwy 287. This neighborhood has approximately 70 homes where the residents enjoy large lots and spacious brick homes.

The city center, also known as "Old Town Rhome" offers the history and character of some of Rhome's original homes, as well as new construction. The area is also home to the historic Old Flour Mill, original location of the Gold Mill Flour brand.

Texas Motor Speedway and Tanger Outlets - are located just 15 minutes east of Rhome on Hwy 114, TMS and the outlet shopping area has much to offer, in and out of racing season.

Downtown Decatur has fun shops, cafes, restaurants, and is the county seat of Wise County!

Kam Kartway - located west of Rhome on Hwy 114, Kam Kartway is an 1/8th mile semi-banked oval dirt track that hosts races on scheduled weekends.

Fort Worth Stockyards - just a short 25 minute drive south is the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards offering a daily cattle drive, wonderful Texas cuisine, exciting nightlife, and a rodeo every Friday and Saturday night.
